SXSW Winter 2026 Construction Update

Exciting milestones reached and what's next.

Things are really taking shape at SXSW in Vaughan, and the site has been busy over the winter months. From exterior progress to interior details, we are starting to see the community come to life.

Towers 1 and 2

Both towers are making great strides. Window installation is now complete on Towers 1 and 2, giving the buildings their finished exterior look. Exterior landscaping is also nearing completion, with final seasonal touches scheduled for the spring. Inside, progress continues floor by floor, with the podiums completed in Tower 1 and fifteen floors completed in Tower 2.

Indoor amenity spaces are moving through the final stages of construction, with millwork, flooring and stone installation well underway. The lobby is now in its finishing phase and will soon be ready to be revealed. Outdoors, the pool is nearly complete, with final touches planned for the spring.

Hillmont

Construction at Hillmont remains on track with concrete pours now complete up to Level 6 in Tower 3 and Level 9 in Tower 4. Looking ahead, window installation is scheduled to commence in early 2026, supporting the next phase of exterior and interior progress for both towers.

Outdoor Amenities & Community Features

Outdoor amenities are coming together across the site. The outdoor park and basketball court is completed.  Final finishing touches will continue as weather conditions allow, bringing these shared spaces closer to being ready for residents to enjoy.
