Primont Launches Rental Division with New Purpose-Built Rental Community in Brampton

BRAMPTON, ON – Primont is pleased to announce the official launch of Primont Rental Living, a new purpose-built rental division focused on delivering high-quality rental communities and expanding housing choice across the Greater Toronto Area.

Building on Primont’s longstanding experience developing communities across the GTA, Primont Rental Living will focus on thoughtfully designed rental communities that provide residents with greater choice and flexibility, including more attainable rental options and family-sized suites.

The division’s first community will be located at Mississauga Road and Sandalwood Parkway in Brampton. Today, Primont officially broke ground alongside Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown on the new 298-suite, 14-storey purpose-built rental community, with construction scheduled to begin this year.

The community will offer a diverse mix of suite types, including a significant number of three-bedroom residences designed to provide families with more space and flexibility. Primont is also partnering with Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) to make a significant portion of the residences more attainable.

Primont has deep roots in Brampton, with communities including MontVert, M Condos and Chateaus, and several new developments planned for the years ahead. This October, Primont will launch Cornerstone, a new master-planned community in Brampton offering three- to five-bedroom townhomes and detached homes.

Together, these developments reflect Primont’s broader commitment to expanding housing choice in Brampton and across the GTA. From townhomes and detached homes to high-rise communities and purpose-built rentals, Primont is focused on creating more opportunities for individuals and families to find a home that meets their needs.

The Brampton community marks the first project for Primont Rental Living, with additional purpose-built rental developments planned for the GTA, as well as future phases in Brampton.
