SXSW Spring 2026 Construction Update

With the arrival of spring comes a sense of new beginnings, and at SXSW in Vaughan, that couldn’t be more true. Occupancy in Towers 1 and 2 will soon begin, as homeowners prepare to move in and start their next chapter. Outdoor amenity spaces are also going through their spring cleaning and getting ready to open to residents. While construction continues throughout the community, SXSW is reaching an exciting new milestone as it prepares to welcome its first residents.

Towers 1 and 2

Progress across Towers 1 and 2 is entering its final stages, as construction work winds down and the buildings prepare to welcome homeowners. Kitchen installations are now wrapping up on the upper floors, while lower-level suites are in the final stages of detailed cleaning and finishing touches, getting ready for move-in.

Key structural milestones have also been reached, with the removal of the hoist elevator in both towers and the main elevators now fully operational. The lobby is complete and ready to welcome homeowners and their guests, marking an important step toward everyday use.

Indoor amenity spaces are also nearing completion, with final cleaning now underway ahead of opening. The pool is in its final stages and is expected to be ready for residents to enjoy in the summer months.

Hillmont

Construction at Hillmont continues to move quickly, with both towers reaching new heights each month and contributing to the overall momentum across the SXSW community.

The building superstructure is advancing steadily, with window installation now underway. Brickwork and exterior cladding are scheduled to begin later this spring, which will bring the buildings to life as the exterior starts to take shape.

Looking ahead, surrounding landscaping is expected to begin later this summer, further enhancing the streetscape and helping the community feel more complete as each phase comes together.

Ravine Towns

Residents continue to move into our ravine townhomes, bringing more life and activity to the community with each passing week. As demand continues, additional blocks are scheduled to begin construction later this summer, supporting future releases and upcoming homeowner move-ins.

Our new model home is now open, offering a firsthand look at the design, layout, and lifestyle these homes provide.

A limited release of townhomes is now selling, giving interested buyers a chance to be part of this growing community.
